Stanislav Roudavski
![]() | In 1993, I graduated with a degree of Master of Architecture/Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia and in 1997 earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Aided Building Design from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. I have worked as an architect, artist, designer and academic in Great Britain, Finland, Germany and Russia and am currently with The Digital Studio, Dept. of Architecture, University of Cambridge. In parallel, I have presented creative work at a large number of events in various contexts. These experiences have led to an interest in performance, self-organisation, ubiquitous intelligence and virtual worlds. My current practice-based research combines the organizational techniques of architecture with the spontaneity of performative situations and the visual language of the moving image arts, including dramaturgy and spatial narrative. I am responsible for administration of the activities on this site.
